Campaign FAQs

  • It is a fundraising campaign, in partnership with organizations that have a humanitarian presence in Palestine, specifically in Gaza and the West Bank to support the people who have been injured and displaced and desperately need life saving food, shelter and medical support.

  • Zaman has funded projects in Gaza since 2009 through its global partner, International Medical Corps. We have expanded our partnerships in Gaza to include Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and MedGlobal. We are also in discussions with several other organizations.

  • The money goes directly to our selected and well vetted partners to mobilize the response by supporting hospitals, clinics, mobile units, and field hospitals to treat the millions that have been injured and displaced. There will be an emphasis on saving infants and children, maternal health needs, critically injured people of all ages, mental health trauma based services and basic needs support like food, clean water, clothing, and shelter.

  • Zaman has funded and managed its donors' trust in 26 countries. Historically, Zaman works with its partners as an institutional donor. Zaman has created its own portfolio within the partnerships that restrict the funds it provides to the campaigns it launches. Zaman contributes 100 % of your donor dollars toward the humanitarian efforts. Zaman’s senior leadership communicates directly with the senior leadership of its selected partners. This allows Zaman to keep the donor base updated with transparent reporting.

  • It is ongoing based on the needs of the people on the ground. The current goals are to prepare, procure and plan for a ceasefire and the opening of the humanitarian corridor.

  • When global non profits, also called NGO’s mobilize to raise private funds during a disaster, they apply for matching funds from larger world wide organizations like the European Union, USAID, the World Bank, and private corporations. Historically, our longest partner has been able to leverage your dollars 30:1. This information is pending for Gaza.
